Abstract:
It is a truth universally acknowledged that the quality and safety of agricultural products are related to people's health and life safety. Current researches generally focus on the point that government participate in agriculture product quality and safety management by official system. In fact, the government can also effectively participate in the management of quality and safety of agricultural products by unofficial channels. This thesis takes Yunan Nuodeng Ham as a case and analyses the development of it through grounded theory and interviewing method. Then this thesis draws some conclusions about unofficial participation of government in quality and safety of agricultural products, such as the third-party strategy, the special brand strategy, the governmental lobby strategy and governmental mobilization strategy, which build a new analytical framework towards to the government unofficial participation. Furthermore, this thesis points out several problems about unofficial participation and gives some suggestions. The purpose of this thesis is to build a new analytical framework and find some shortcomings to help governments improve their standard and ability in unofficial participation.
