Abstract: Since the 18th CPC National Congress, standing at a new historic juncture, Xi Jinping has placed great emphasis on the united front, positioning the united front on securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, striving for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and the realization of Chinese Dream of great national rejuvenation. It clearly expresses the nature and basic requirements of the current united front in a new era. The theoretical innovation and practical innovation in Marxist theory of the united front have important guiding significance for consolidating and expanding the socialistic united front work with Chinese characteristics better in a new era.
