Abstract:
Based on questionnaires focus group interviews of Southeast Asia students from main campus of Yunnan Agricultural University (YAU), the author of the article made an empirical analysis on the four aspects of international students' cross-cultural adaptation process, which are languages cultural adaptation, environmental adaptation, academic adaptation, and psychological adaptation respectively. Results indicate that cultures and society difference, socialized with Chinese students and involved in campus life, and psychological health are the most influencing factors of Southeast Asia students' cross-cultural adaptation process. This result has also be useful to the management of Southeast Asia students at universities in Yunnan province.
