Abstract: The paper analyzes the theoretical explanation and research of Hong Kong jurisprudential scholars, legal precedents on marriage and family affairs in Hong Kong court and Hong Kong written laws articles, investigates the historical causes, legal basis and judicial practice of the combination of Chinese and western laws in Hong Kong marriage and family laws. Hong Kong has successfully integrates foreign resources and local legal resources, creates its own marriage and family affairs law with both Chinese and western laws elements, promotes the stability and prosperity of Hong Kong society. The successful experience of Hong Kong has shown us a new path of legal system modernizationmake gradual reform and progress with the legal resources that have long been compatible of various Chinese and western, new and old legal resources. The research of this experience of Hong Kong is of great value for us in how to rationally deal with external legal resources and local legal resources.
