Abstract: The lack of value identity is the psychological factor of social contradiction, but the lack of public value identity is the subjective reflection of the objective problems of our country in the economic, political and cultural fields. The lack of economic value recognition leads to public psychological imbalance; the lack of political values leads to the crisis of the people and the government; the lack of cultural values leads to the confusion of the public spirit. And psychological imbalance, the crisis of trust and the spirit of confusion will lead to social contradictions. To enhance the value of the public value identity, forming value consensus, and changing bad state of mind, easing and resolving social conflicts, should be from the national and individual levels.
