Abstract: Yunnan's pig industry has expanded rapidly these years. Although Yunnan has become a large pig-breeding province, it is not a strong one, and unnan pig-breeding enterprises are faced with huge challenge. Based on the Probit regression analysis, this article analyses factors that affect the competitiveness of Yunnan pig-breeding enterprises. The results show that the capital, technology and management have obvious impacts on the competitiveness of Yunnan pig-breeding enterprises. Based on the model, the authors put forward new suggestions including increase investment, cultivate talents and innovate technology to boost the competitiveness of Yunnan pig-breeding enterprises.
