Abstract: The plant disease specimens are essential tools for the experimental teaching of Plant Pathology. The quality and quantity of the samples directly affect the effectiveness of experimental teaching. The collection, production and management of the specimen is a time-consuming work.The problems of needed be solved urgently in the construction and management of disease specimen in the college are discussed in this paper,includingdegeneration and shortage of quantity and variety of specimens,and staff shorted. This paper aims to improve the efficient management and utilization of plant disease specimens, to improve the ability of experimental teaching of Plant Pathology. So it can be much more beneficial to the experimental teaching and scientific research. This paper provides the basis for the utilization and construction of plant diseases specimens.Based on the actual situation of thecollege, this paper puts forward some effectivereform measures, and achieved good results.
