Abstract: Some examination reforms were carried out in assessment of the Cigarette ManufacturingTechnology course according to the characteristics of the tobacco science major after analyzing the current situation of examinations of undergraduate courses.Through those reform measures, such as increasing periodic examinations, diversifying examination formats, enhancing the proportion of grades from attendance, assignment, and class performance, and broadening makeup of the final grade, the advancement of teaching and learning was realized.At the same time, the professional and comprehensive qualities of students in the tobacco science major was enhanced, and thus the students' quality and ability were better adapted to the new situations of tobacco industry.
