Abstract:
This paper is an attempt to discuss the teaching evaluation of college English from test data collection and application. For the purposes of realizing the virtuous cycle of teaching and evaluation, we can design the collection and application plans by means of analyzing the necessity of big data evaluation mode. Tests play an important role in evaluating every relevant steps of teaching activity. This paper presents the concept of detailed test data which contain all the choices of each option in order to make objective evaluation to the teaching from different characters and procedures related to each other. More objective evaluations are obtained through analyzing detailed test data which could supply information from different aspects and stages. These evaluations are helpful in studying the problems of English teaching.
