Abstract: With Chinese urbanization process accelerating and the urbanization development level enhancing unceasingly, some social issues being worthy of concerning is prominent. For revealing the existed issues of rural-urban continuum and the roots of blocking the development of urbanization, this article conducts comparative analysis on source of revenue, cultural level and social status of different structure resident in the same community by investigating and surveying living actuality of residents in urban-rural continuum of Xinglong community in northern suburbs of Kunming city, and analyze the social conflicts issues, and then put forward countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the development of social ecological balance, so as to promote economic development around Kunming, promote population aggregation function, speed up urbanization progress, and construct harmonious society.
