Abstract:
The practice teaching of tourism management in higher education is an essential part of fulfilling objective of talent cultivation and matching professional education with industry needs. The research of practice teaching reform has positive effect on optimizing the course system of tourism management and improving the quality of teaching. By taking the tourism management major in Yunnan Agricultural University as an example, this paper finds that there are still problems in the practice teaching, such as the practicing courses are not probably offered, small proportion of practice class; the lack of teachers who are rich in practical experience and theoretical knowledge; the construction of training and practicing bases are behind of schedule; lower level of practice and single practice area led to that the directivity of tourism practice on students'employment is not strong; practice teaching operation mechanism is not perfect. The effective way to solve these problems is to establish school-enterprise cooperation mechanism, the cost sharing mechanism, the curriculum coordination mechanism, the teacher training mechanism and the evaluation mechanism.
