Abstract: Teng-Mi Road belongs to the northern section of Stilwell Road. As a part of strategic development in Yunnan Province to construct an international road between China,Southeast and South Asia, it cannot be ignored. China and Myanmar are linked by rivers and mountains and have deep friendship and feelings.It is extremely urgent to conduct poverty supporting actions along Teng-Mi Road which connects the southwest of China and the north of Myanmar. Based on field investigation, this paper not only constructed a overview of the natural conditions, economic and social situations along Teng-Mi Road of north Myanmar but also analyzed the rural livelihoods along the road and put forward choices of poverty supporting projects and suggestions of poverty supporting measures conducting.
