Abstract: In 2015, Chinese government canceled the protective price purchasing policy for rapeseed, afterwards, domestic rapeseed prices suddenly plummeted, meanwhile, the rapeseed price of Yunnan Province has also been following the downward trend. In this article,firstly,the authors explored the impact factors of rapeseed price fluctuations of Yunnan province by empirical analysis; secondly, based on the survey of the 204 farmers in the main rapeseed producing areas of Yunnan province, the range of rapeseed price fluctuations were identified with descriptive statistics; finally, in order to alleviate the negative impacts onthe development of rapeseed industry in Yunnanprovince, the relevant solutions are suggested as follows:to enhance support and protection, to employfutures market,toincreaseinvestment in science and technology, to tap the external potentials,to build the brands,to expand publicity and marketing, etc. so as to boost the sound development of Yunnan rapeseed industry.
