Abstract: Since the eighteenth national congress of the communist party of China, the cultivation and practice of socialist core values in rural areas attaches great importance of the CPC central committee. China has a population of one billion four hundred million, nine hundred million of them are farmers.It is obvious that advancing socialist core valuesin rural areas isimportant and difficult. Broad masses of farmers are the key propaganda objects of socialist core values popularization. Due to the limitation ofeconomic development level, natural conditions and customs and habits, there aremany problems and unprecedented challenges in rural areas.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the socialism core values popularization in rural area, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
