Abstract: The identity was major symbol of operation of social order in traditional Chinese society which based on ethical relationship. This paper will discuss the solidified process of ethical relationship from three perspectives:political basis,the theory of justiceand social custom for making a previous definition toidentityandcontractof Chinese traditional society. From the view of top-level design, the ethical relationship which gets solidification with political basis can't be shaken. Due to the philosophic process for ethical relationship, especially the filial was authorized the absoluteness, it becamethe theory of justicein every social member's minds. The conclusion of this paper:the solidified ethical relationship made social order of identity operating regularly in daily life and custom through the detailed and specific regulation blending in with ceremony and law.
