Abstract: Due to the bad food safety affairs occurred in latest ten years, food safety problem has become the focus of social concerns.Food supply and demand networks, a brand new idea derived from the supply chain, put forward in nearly two years, will be able to make up the loophole originally existing in the supply chain system.The new idea transfers supply chains into supply and demand networks, which is a great progress.This paper starts from the brand new angle of view to construct cold chain traceability system,it is distinct from traditional research.Through the analysis of some related factors, the paper confirms the subject system, and it holds that the food supply and demand network will surely promote the rapid development of cold chain traceability.
