Abstract: V.S.Naipaul is a typical author of diastolic literature who survives in the third space under the post-colony context. Based on Homi Bhabha's theory, the author analyzes V. S. Naipaul's survival, interprets the theme, characterization, and the style of his works. It could supply a very essential reference for the research of postcolonial literature worldwide.
