Abstract:
Research on course books has always been paid less attention to in the academic world. Business English writing book is essential to the competence cultivation of the students who are educated to engage in the international business field. Based on the detailed survey of the 46 books by six major college education course book publishers from 2000 to 2013 and researches on course books in corresponding period, this study reveals college English book research is seriously inadequate, and compilation of college business English writing books under current research exhibits such problems as high coincidence rate of the teaching material, the limited coverage of the course books, acute shortage of authentic tasks, lack of three-dimensional construction, and insufficient and dull course exercise design.
