Abstract: With the industrialization process of Guizhou, the pace of urbanization process is also accelerated. In the urbanization process, the urban village is like a double-edged sword, which has double effects on city development: on the one hand, it can relief the social pressure such as housing, employment, which is conducive to the steady development of urbanization; on the other hand, poor environmental sanitation and untidiness caused by which will hinder the city development, and bring the bad effect on the quality of city life. Aiming at the double effects of city village, this paper puts forward a few comments.
