Abstract: Chinese-style modernization provides the fundamental guidance for the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas,which in turn constitutes an inevitable requirement for achieving Chinese-style modernization.The progress of rural development serves as a crucial yardstick for measuring the advancement of Chinese-style modernization.In the course of advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization, the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas should be systematically promoted across five dimensions: agency, economy, culture, ecology, and governance. Specifically, the agency dimension focuses on constructing an integrated talent support system of “cultivation-attraction-retention-utilization” ; the economic dimension strives to create a composite modern industrial ecosystem characterized by “specialization, integration, connectivity, and innovation” ; the cultural dimension emphasizes the implementation of an immersive cultural revitalization initiative involving “preservation, activation, cultivation, and innovation” ; the ecological dimension is dedicated to establishing a long-term green development mechanism grounded in “protection, transformation, governance, and sharing” ; and the governance dimension aims to shape an efficient grassroots governance pattern based on “leadership, collaboration, intelligence, and co-governance” .
