Abstract:
From the basic goal of rural revitalization including “strong agriculture, beautiful countryside, and wealthy farmers” , and based on the characteristics of new quality productive forces, this study constructs an evaluation index system for the coupling coordination of rural revitalization, namely “agricultural upgrading—rural progress—farmer development” . Using the entropy weight method, coupling coordination model, and geographical detector, this study investigates the evolutionary status and driving mechanisms of the coupling coordination of “agriculture, countryside, and farmers” in 63 National Agricultural Science and Technology Parks in North China, East China, and Central China from 2017 to 2023. The result indicates that the overall coupling coordination of rural revitalization in these parks remains in a state of imbalance, but the general trend is positive. There are obvious regional differences in the coordinated development of the “agriculture, countryside, and farmers” coupling system, with the relative lag of rural development becoming a significant bottleneck hindering coordination. Entrepreneurship incubation capability, innovation agglomeration capability, scientific and technological innovation capability, and digital support capability are the main factors influencing the regional differentiation of coordinated development. Meanwhile, environmental support capability is gradually important driving force. There are non-linear or double-factor enhancement effects among these six capability factors, and rural entrepreneurship based on agricultural technology to increase farmers’ income is currently best way to achieve coordinated rural revitalization.
