Abstract:
Rural revitalization is a shared responsibility of the whole society, and agricultural grassroots talents are the backbone force for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy. Taking the targeted training of grassroots talents by Yunnan Agricultural University as an example, this paper adopted the questionnaire survey method and inductive-deductive method, and selected the returning students of grades 2014—2021 from 16 prefectures and cities in Yunnan Province as the survey samples to explore the benefits of targeted training for agricultural grassroots talents. The research results showed: (1) The proportion of young students had been increasing year by year, showing a gradual trend of rejuvenation; More than 90% of the students believed that their theoretical knowledge and thinking horizons have been greatly improved, and their personal abilities and contributions to the industry have been recognized by their units and colleagues. (2) It had played a bridging role among students, experts, universities and rural areas, better established the communication and connection between universities and agricultural grassroots departments, met their endogenous needs, gave full play to its linking function, and effectively promoted the development of local agricultural modernization and rural revitalization. (3) Students had promoted the introduction of new varieties and new technologies, carried out experimental promotion,which has contributed to the increase of new output value and promoted the transformation of scientific research achievements into promotion projects; 75.87% of the students had been promoted in professional titles or moved to leading positions. It shows that the agricultural grass-roots talents training plays a significant comprehensive benefit in the construction of agriculture and rural areas. This paper can provide reference for the selection of agricultural grassroots talents, the exploration of new training models and the optimization of the grassroots talent training system.
