农业机械化对农业绿色全要素生产率的影响研究

An Empirical Study on the Effects of Agricultural Mechanization on Green Total Factor Productivity Productivity in the Agricultural Sector

  • 摘要: 当前我国农业正从“量的积累”向“质的跃升”转变,推动农机化绿色低碳转型,提升农业绿色全要素生产率,是推进乡村全面振兴、实现农业现代化的重要任务。本研究基于2005—2023年我国30个省区市的面板数据和双向固定效应模型,从环境规制和人力资本视角出发,实证分析农业机械化对农业绿色全要素生产率的影响机制及区域异质性。研究发现:近二十年来的传统农业机械化增长方式抑制了农业绿色全要素生产率提升,因其依赖化石能源,增加温室气体排放。进一步分析,环境规制会削弱农业机械化对农业绿色全要素生产率的负向影响;人力资本能促进农业绿色全要素生产率,但却会强化农业机械化的负向影响。区域异质性表明,农业机械化对农业绿色全要素生产率的影响在东部和粮食主产区呈现抑制作用,中部为正向促进,西部和非粮食主产区则不显著。为此,应推动农机装备智能化、绿色化;实施区域差异化政策;加强农民教育培训等,加快农业发展全面绿色转型。

     

    Abstract: China’ s agricultural sector is transitioning from quantitative expansion to qualitative advancement. Promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of agricultural mechanization and enhancing the Agricultural Green Total Factor Productivity(AGTFP)are important tasks for advancing the comprehensive rural revitalization and achieving agricultural modernization. Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2023 and a two-way fixed effects model, this study took an environmental regulation and human capital perspective to empirically analyze the impact mechanism and regional heterogeneity of agricultural mechanization on AGTFP. The study revealed that, the traditional growth model of agricultural mechanization over the past two decades had inhibited the growth of AGTFP, primarily due to its reliance on fossil fuels and it increases in greenhouse gas emissions. Further analysis indicated that, while environmental regulation could mitigate this negative impact of mechanization on AGTFP, human capital, although beneficial for AGTFP, paradoxically strengthened it. Regional heterogeneity analysis showed that, agricultural mechanization inhibited AGTFP in the eastern and major grain-producing regions, promoted it in the central region, and had no significant effect in the western and non-major grain-producing regions. Based on the study, we propose targeted policy recommendations, including promoting intelligent and green agricultural machinery, implementing region-specific policies, and strengthening farmer education and training, to accelerate the comprehensive green transition in agricultural development.
