Abstract:
Based on the panel data of the 16 prefectures/municipalities in Yunnan Province, this paper used the entropy method to measure digital economy development and high-quality agricultural development indices, and analyzed the driving effect of digital economy on agricultural quality enhancement. The results showed that, Yunnan’ s digital economy demonstrated robust growth momentum during the study period, while agricultural quality development exhibited a fluctuating upward trajectory. The digital economy could significantly promote agricultural quality advancement, but due to the single threshold effect of logistics, its promoting effect showed marginal increase after crossing the threshold. Accordingly, policy recommendations emphasize implementing regionally differentiated development strategies, strengthening digital infrastructure and rural logistics systems, and enhancing the innovation and application of agricultural science and technology, with the aim of providing empirical support and policy references for Yunnan Province to develop new agricultural productive forces in accordance with local conditions.
