Abstract:
The agricultural new quality productivity is the key driving force to accelerate the construction of an agricultural power, promote the revitalization of rural industries, and realize the modernization of agriculture and rural areas. Based on the panel data of 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China from 2013 to 2022, this paper used the entropy method to measure the agricultural new quality productivity and rural industry revitalization index, and analyzed the driving effect of agricultural new quality productivity on rural industry revitalization through the two-way fixed effect model and threshold effect model. The results showed that, the agricultural new quality productivity had a significant role in promoting the revitalization of rural industries, and the digital economy has an indirect positive impact in this process. The results of heterogeneity test showed that, the new agricultural productivity had a significant effect on the revitalization of the central and western regions, and the revitalization effect on the high-level areas was stronger than that of the low-level areas. The threshold effect analysis showed that, the impact of new agricultural productivity on the revitalization of rural industries was constrained by the development level of different technology markets. Based on this, it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of new agricultural productivity, improve the level of digital economy in rural areas, and expand the technology market to further promote the revitalization of rural industries.
