Abstract: Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the process of realizing common prosperity, we need not only the “material prosperity” of storing granaries, food and clothing, but also the “spiritual prosperity” of knowing etiquette, honor and disgrace. In the process of promoting common prosperity of spiritual life, it is urgent and significant to crack the problem of spiritual poverty among farmers. Therefore, it is necessary to reach consensus and pool efforts, adhere to rural self-reliance and villagers’ consciousness, pay equal attention to nurture and regulations, continuously promote the reform of cultural supply-side, and increase investment in rural education.
