Abstract:
Improving the steadiness of the agricultural sector is essential for the consistent progress of rural areas, linking the successful execution of agricultural insurance to the economic solidity of farming. This research utilizes panel data covering the years 2010 to 2022 from 31 different provinces, autonomous areas, and municipalities across china. Utilizing the spatial durbin model alongside the panel threshold model, the study investigates how agricultural insurance influences the resilience of the agricultural economy. The results indicate this: (1) There is a notable spatial autocorrelation between the extent of agricultural insurance growth and the economic robustness of agriculture in various chinese provinces. (2) Advancements in agricultural insurance markedly bolster the robustness of the agricultural sector via significant spatial ripple effects. (3) A noticeable threshold impact is observed in the link between the development of agricultural insurance and the economic resilience of agriculture.
