Abstract:
This study aimed to explore the key factors affecting the land transfer behavior of farmers in the Tibetan ethnic minority areas. Based on 506 farmer data from 33 counties and districts in Tibet, this research used the Logistic regression model to multidimensionally discuss the impact of seven factors, including the total number of family members, the number of people engaged in non-agricultural work, annual family income, the proportion of agricultural income, contracted land area, the extent of farmers’ participation in pension insurance, and agricultural subsidy policies, on the land transfer behavior of Tibetan farmers. The empirical analysis showed that, the aforementioned factors significantly affected the land transfer behavior of farmers. The results revealed the complex relationship between farmers’ land transfer behavior and family economic status and the proportion of agricultural income.
