Abstract: Under the strategic background of new urban-rural relations, exploring the logical mechanism and practical path of rural tourism to reshape urban-rural relations and drive urban-rural integrated development is of great significance in realizing the modernization of agriculture and rural areas and the goal of common prosperity. As an urban-rural integrated industry, rural tourism is not only a link between urban and rural areas, but also an important way to promote urban-rural integration and development. Taking the conceptual connotation of rural tourism and urban-rural integrated development as the logical starting point, this study analyzed the logical mechanism and practical path of rural tourism to help urban-rural development, and built a logical framework for rural tourism to develop urban-rural development. Relying on the linking advantages of rural tourism to smooth the flow of urban and rural factors, and giving full play to the integration advantages of rural tourism to optimize the allocation of urban and rural resources, the practical paths were expected to provide references for narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas, promoting the high-quality development of rural tourism, especially the realization of urban-rural integration.
