Abstract:
The article focuses on the construction of digital rural areas and the income of farmers in revolutionary old areas. Based on 935 revolutionary old areas nationwide, a spatial econometric model is constructed to explore the impact mechanism and spatial spillover effects of digital rural construction on the income of farmers in revolutionary old areas. Research has shown that the construction of digital rural areas has significant income increasing and spatial spillover effects on revolutionary old areas, but this spillover effect only occurs between poverty-stricken counties, and the spillover effect between poverty-stricken counties has not yet been fully formed. The construction of digital rural areas has the advantage of inclusive growth, which can help low-income areas such as poverty-stricken counties and western regions achieve higher levels of income growth. The income increasing effect of digital rural construction on revolutionary old areas can be achieved through two channels: increasing entrepreneurial activity and improving the level of e-commerce development. The research conclusion of the article provides additional empirical evidence and policy references for effectively promoting the construction of digital villages and common prosperity in underdeveloped areas such as revolutionary old areas.
