Abstract: Consultative democracy in rural areas is an important manifestation and obvious advantage of the Party’ s mass line in the field of agriculture and rural areas, and also an important way to achieve the Party’ s comprehensive leadership in rural areas. Consultative democracy plays a positive role in implementing revitalization responsibilities, optimizing rural governance, establishing revitalization platforms, and coordinating labor relations in the process of rural revitalization. At present, there are still difficulties in promoting rural revitalization through consultative democracy, such as insufficient understanding of consultation, low level of participation, lack of guarantee mechanisms, and insufficient public rationality. To achieve modernization of agriculture and rural areas, it is necessary to leverage the advantages of consultative democracy. By adhering to the typical propaganda practices of consultation, the key points of consultation content, the cultivation and excavation of consultation talents, and the public rationality of consultation direction, we can enhance the awareness of rural revitalization consultation, stimulate the vitality of rural revitalization consultation, consolidate the foundation of rural revitalization consultation, promote the effectiveness of rural revitalization consultation, and empower comprehensive rural revitalization.
