Abstract: Folk culture originated in agricultural society and is an important part of the traditional cultural system. The continuation of the value of folk culture can enhance the collective power of rural construction. Dragon King culture has a long history and is widely distributed in China. It is a typical representative of folk beliefs. The rural social transformation in the new era has changed the living soil of folk culture, and it faces the dilemma of inheritance. The study of Dragon King culture is helpful to explore the way out for the revitalization of folk culture. Taking Z Village in Huaining County as the research site, the history, form and development status of the local Dragon King culture were investigated on the spot by using the method of case study. Examining the Dragon King culture based on the perspective of space, we could realize the important role of space fusion and space change in the process of folk custom construction and development. From the standpoint of space remodeling, through the construction of rural social interaction space, cultural sharing space, spiritual entertainment space and technological protection space, the vitality and vitality of traditional folk culture would be enhanced, so as to revive local culture and create a community of rural life, and contribute to the revitalization of rural areas.
