Abstract: The inheritance and innovation of rural traditional cultural resources and the integration and development of urban and rural areas are dialectically unified and mutually reinforcing. Traditional cultural resources carry historical accumulation and profound connotations, and their inheritance and innovation are effective levers to leverage cultural revitalization and achieve organic integration of urban and rural areas. The development of urban-rural integration will accelerate the modernization, diversification, and diversification of traditional cultural resources in rural areas. Based on a survey in Luliang County, Yunnan Province, in the process of urban-rural integration, rural cultural resources showed a lack of confidence, insufficient protection, weak competitiveness of cultural resources, and lagging industrial development. Adopting empirical research and then rising to the theoretical level, the inheritance and innovation of rural cultural resources in urban-rural integration needed to reshape the consensus on the value of rural traditional cultural resources from the perspective of ideology, promote the high-quality development of rural traditional cultural industries through actions, shape new cultures for urban-rural development through the revitalization of rural traditional culture as the carrier, and promote the healthy development of urban-rural integration through the effective inheritance and innovation of rural traditional cultural resources.
