Abstract:
In order to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and transform resource advantages into economic advantages, Nujiang Prefecture in Yunnan practiced the development concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” , actively integrated into the construction of Greater Western Yunnan Tourism Ring Road, and built a world-class mountain canyon tourism destination by relying on the original ecological natural landscape, cultural resource endowment and political endowment. Although Nujiang Prefecture had a certain customer base and scale foundation in its early development, it still faced objective obstacles restricting its development, such as insufficient transformation of single assets from a source of funds, government cooperation awareness and service capabilities to be improved, scarcity of high-quality tourism talents, and insufficient attention to ecological environmental protection. Therefore, in the process of building a high mountain and canyon tourist destination mountain, Nujiang Prefecture should pay equal attention to external support and its own development, improve the mechanism to ensure equal opportunities for local residents to participate, pay attention to cultivating local high-quality compound talents, maintain the authenticity of national culture between generations, protect the development of ecological resources to promote the sustainable transformation of ecological value, achieve multi-channel increase of local people’ s income development, and promote inclusive development of Nujiang Prefecture.
