Abstract: At present, the development of urbanization and counter-urbanization in China are the meaning of the new urbanization. The emergence of counter-urbanization can promote economic development, narrow the gap between urban and rural areas, cure “urban diseases” , and improve the quality of the urban environment. And also proposed important measures for rural rejuvenation. Based on the analysis of the development and status quo of the counter-urbanization, this article proposed that, the practice of counter-urbanization could fully attract various returning elites, enriched the rural construction, played an important role in achieving rural rejuvenation, and actively explored various advancement measures.
