Abstract:
This paper studied feasibility of setting up SPOC course Self-defense Skills for Women in Yunnan Agricultural University, focusing on SPOC courses, physical exercise characteristics of female college students studying in Yunnan Agricultural University, course demands, faculty, site conditions, course resources and other aspects, by the method of literature review, questionnaire survey and logical analysis. The results show that female college students in Yunnan Agricultural University generally fail to meet the standards of people in sport in China from the three dimensions of frequency, intensity and time of participating in physical exercise, and there is still much room for improvement. Although they have a strong sense of safety, they hove not recognize their self-defense abilities. They do not exclude self-defense courses for women, and have a greater learning demand for such courses, which provides a solid user base for the courses. SPOC can fully combine the advantages of online teaching and offline teaching, effectively centralize teaching resources, liberate both teaching and learning, so that to improve teaching quality. Faculty, site conditions, course resources can also support the establishment of this course. It is feasible and necessary to set up the SPOC course Self-defense Skills for Women in Yunnan Agricultural University.
