Abstract: The relationship between the CPC and the people, which is an integrated community of life and death, is the basic basis for correctly grasping the Party’ s ruling purpose and mode of governance and pragmatically promoting the Party’ s ruling practice. The great and glorious Communist Party of China, established in accordance with the Marxist principles of party building, has consistently made it its unremitting goal and sacred mission to work for the happiness of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation throughout its glorious history of struggle over the past century. In order to win even greater victories and glory by relying closely on the people in the new era, the CPC must refine its political character of self-revolution to achieve the interests of the people, faithfully practice the people-centered value of serving the people wholeheartedly, and take the promotion of common prosperity for all the people as the focus of the Party’ s leadership in economic and social development, so as to continue to achieve good results in establishing the party for the public and governing for the people with a great self-revolution leading to a great social revolution.
