Abstract:
The development of inclusive finance is an important measure to improve financial supply in the new era and enhance residents’ sense of happiness and sense of acquisition. Based on the classical economic model, this paper constructs an economic hypothesis that government intervention in inclusive finance can narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas. It uses panel data from various cities in Fujian Province from 2014 to 2019 as a research sample to measure inclusive finance and use the results of the inclusive finance measurement. Perform OLS regression analysis on the impact of income disparity. The results show that the development level of inclusive finance in Fujian Province is obviously regionally unbalanced, and inclusive finance in most areas is still at a low level; the development of inclusive finance has significantly reduced the income gap, and the impact of the development of inclusive finance in southern Fujian on the income gap higher than in northern Fujian; the impact of inclusive financial development in Fujian Province on the income gap presents a “U-shaped” structure that first narrows and then expands. Therefore, based on the results of empirical analysis, this article puts forward relevant policy recommendations for adjusting the inclusive financial policy according to time and place.
