Abstract: Rural domestic waste has become an important source of rural environmental pollution, which seriously damages the rural ecological environment, leading to the prominent problems of rural living environment, and strengthening the treatment of rural domestic waste has become an important measure to build a beautiful countryside. Through the field investigation of 8 towns in Weiyuan County, it is found that there are some problems in the process of domestic waste treatment, such as the difficulty of waste classification, the shortage of funds, the single subject of treatment, the imperfect local legislation and so on. Combined with the local reality, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of establishing the concept of environmental protection, increasing investment, improving the multi subject governance system and improving governance norms.
