Abstract: Traditional villages are the important heritage of farming civilization and the key carrier for the continuation of rural context and folk customs. The rural revitalization strategy brings unprecedented opportunities for the development of traditional villages, which not only stimulates the new vitality of traditional villages, but also promotes the implementation of rural revitalization strategy. At present, all parts of Fujian actively promote the protection and activation of traditional villages, and have made important achievements in culture revival, tourism development and ecological protection. However, some traditional villages are confronted with some problems, such as lack of protection subjects, single industrial development, insufficient cultural innovation, and deterioration of ecological environment. By interpreting the current situation of traditional village activation in Fujian Province, this paper puts forward the strategies of traditional village activation in order to realize the sustainable development of traditional villages.
