Abstract
By analyzing the contents of the nine nutrient elements including nitrogen (N), phosphor (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), cuprum (Cu) and zinc (Zn)in ‘Tainung No.1’ mango leaves and fruits at the fruit development period in Ledong County in Hainan Province, Mangos nutrition characteristic and its correlation were studied. The results showed: (1) The contents of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Mn, Cu and Zn elements in the fruit regularly decreased with the fruit growth, and there was significantly positive correlation between each other(PPCa, P, Mg>Mn, Fe>Zn>Cu; at the young fruit stage, N>K, and then, K>N, at the young fruit stage and fruit swelling stage, Ca>P>Mg, and then the contents of them were similar. At the young fruit stage and fruit swelling stage, Mn>Fe, and then, the contents were similar. (5) The rank of nutrient contents in leaves was as following: Ca>N>K>P>Mg>Mn>Fe>Zn>Cu.
