Abstract
This article focused on the construction of digital rural areas and the income of farmers in revolutionary old areas. Based on 935 counties of revolutionary old areas nationwide, a spatial econometric model was constructed to explore the impact mechanism and spatial spillover effects of digital rural construction on the income of farmers in revolutionary old areas. Research had shown that, the construction of digital rural areas had significant income increasing and spatial spillover effects on revolutionary old areas, but this spillover effect only occurred between poverty-stricken counties, and the spillover effect between poverty-stricken counties had not yet been fully formed. The construction of digital rural areas had the advantage of inclusive growth, which could help low-income areas such as poverty-stricken counties and western regions achieve higher levels of income growth. The income increasing effect of digital rural construction on revolutionary old areas could be achieved through two channels: increasing entrepreneurial activity and improving the level of e-commerce development. The research conclusion of the article provided additional empirical evidence and policy references for effectively promoting the construction of digital villages and common prosperity in underdeveloped areas such as revolutionary old areas.
