Abstract
Based on the spatial panel data of 41 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2011 to 2019, this paper analyzes the spatial correlation of digital inclusive finance and urban-rural income gap through calculating the global Moran’ s I and the local Moran’ s I, constructs a spatial measurement model to study the impact of digital inclusive finance on the urban-rural income gap in the Yangtze River Delta region. The results show that: there is an obvious positive spatial correlation between digital inclusive finance and urban-rural income gap in the Yangtze River Delta region; Digital inclusive finance and its coverage, depth of use, digitalization and Internet penetration rate, urbanization development can narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas, and promote the convergence effect of the urban-rural income gap in the region on the urban-rural income gap in other regions; digital inclusive finance and the integration of its three primary indicators and the Internet have a heterogeneous impact on the urban-rural income gap, which will expand urban-rural income gap, there is no spillover effect, indicating that the two are not well integrated.
