Abstract
Purpose In order to definite the relationship of small-leaf teas from Zhaotong Yunnan to lay the foundation for the breeding and the development and utilization of germplasm resources.Method 15 ISSR molecular markers were used to analyze the genomic DNA of 9 typical small-leaf tea samples from Zhaotong Yunnan by PCR amplification. Results 105 clear PCR bands were obtained, and the percentage of polymorphic bands was 84.3%, and the genetic similarity coefficient was between 0.55 and 0.76; in the level of 0.60, nine small-leaf tea samples from Zhaotong Yunnan were divided into three groups, that is, two West Lake Longjing tea samples were classified as group one, and two Guangdong white tea samples were classified as group two, which were introduced to Zhaotong in the early years, and the other five tea samples were classified as group three. Conclusion The results showed abundant genetic diversity in small-leaf teas from Zhaotong Yunnan, and also showed their relationship.
