Abstract
Purpose The research aimed to study the fertilizer effect and fertilization index of snow peas on sweet.Method The effect and the utilization efficiency of fertilizer in five groups of "3414" fertilizer experiment of snow peas in Jinning County of Kunming City since 2013 was analyzed. Additionally, the correlation of fertilization rate, soil-based yield and relative yield of snow peas with soil nutrient content was analyzed respectively. Results The maximum application rate for N, P2O5 and K2O were 25-47 kg/667m2, 10.9-21 kg/667m2, 20-33 kg/667m2 respectively, and the average ratio of N, P2O5 and K2O was 1.4:0.7:1. The optimum fertilization program should be N 16-22 kg/667m2, P2O5 8-11 kg/667m2 and K2O 10-16 kg/667m2. Meanwhile, the negative correlation had been found between soil available N level and maximum N fertilization rate in snow peas production. However, the relative yield of snow peas was not significantly correlated with soil nutrient test. Conclusion It is suggested that N fertilization index of snow peas in Kunming could be determined based on the soil alkaline nitrogen, and NPK fertilizer ratio could be used in fertilization on snow peas.
