Experimental Study on Tobacco Flue-cured by Biomass Pellet Fuel Burner

Abstract
Purpose In order to study the application of biomass pellet fuel burner in agricultural products such as tobacco baking and understand the work performance of the pellet fuel burner, to solve the problems of sustainable development of green tobacco leaf production that has been restricted by the high energy consumption and more labor.Method The structures of three kinds of biomass particle fuel combustion machines were introduced and the temperature control, fuel consumption and quality of the biomass pellet combustion machine in the process of tobacco baking were compared.Result The stability of the temperature control of the three types of combustion engines for dry and wet bulb from high to low order was double screw rod,track and single screw rod. The average fuel consumption per kg dry tobacco were 1.87 kg and 0.372 kW·h, 1.59 kg and 0.300 kW·h, 1.61 kg and 0.327 kW·h, and it was showed that the double screw rod of burner also take advantage of saving fuel consumption. The ratios of fresh and dry tobacco leaves were 6.667,5.818 and 5.872.Conclusion The double screw rod of burner has an obvious advantage in temperature control,stable operation and saving fuel consumption,the single screw rod and track screw rod of burner has some advantages in higher quality of flue cured tobacco.
