Composition and Similarities of Insect Community in Different Jujube Regions

  • Purpose In order to deepen the ecosystem undstanding of different jujube planting regions in Ningxia, insect species of 4 jujube region and their similarities were studied from 2013 to 2015.Method The survey was carried out once every 10-15 days from April to October by general investigation and fixed-point investigation. Results The results showed that there were 156 insect species belonging to 10 order, 60 families in Ningxia jujube woods. Among them, there were 52 insect species in Lingwu; 74 insect species in Zhongning; 94 insect species in Tongxin;79 insect species in Zhongwei. The species composition similarity of insect community in different jujube regions were in order of Zhongning and Tongxin(0.595 2) > Tongxin and Zhongwei(0.578 0) > Zhongning and Zhongwei(0.562 1) > Lingwu and Zhongning(0.539 7) > Lingwu and Zhongwei(0.503 8) > Lingwu and Tongxin(0.465 8); the community composition similarity were in order of Zhongning and Zhongwei(0.528 8) > Lingwu and Zhongning(0.449 4) > Tongxin and Zhongwei(0.368 0) > Zhongning and Tongxin(0.365 9) > Lingwu and Zhongwei(0.352 7) > Lingwu and Tongxin(0.297 4); the community characteristic similarity showed similar patterns during Lingwu, Zhongning and Zhongwei, and Tongxin had a remarkable difference compared with the former. Conclusion There were rich species in the jujube woods. The number of family, species and abundance in 4 jujube region were in order of Tongxin > Zhongwei > Zhongning > Lingwu. Lingwu on insect community structure was similar to Zhongning, and Zhongning and Tongxin was respectively similar to Zhongwei. The results was closely related to local climate, vegetation and cultivation management pattern(management precision of different jujube regions were in order of Lingwu > Zhongning > Zhongwei > Tongxin).
