Preliminary Study on Dipsacus asperoides Germplasm Resources in Yunnan Province

  • The quality of germplasm resources of medicinal plant plays a very important role for the effective evaluation and control the quality and yield of medicinal plants. We wants to clear the distribution of Dipsacus asperoides in Yunnan and screening high quality of germplasm resources. After a survey on the ecological environment of 59 different germplasm resources, the main agronomic traits were determined. Saponins Ⅵ were measured by using HPLC chromatography, external standard method,the yield of D. asperoides was measured too. The results showed that D. asperoides widely distribute in Yunnan Province. The yield was in direct proportion to the plant height and diameter of stem. The effective component content and output were very different among different germplasm resources. On the premise of giving attention to both yield with effective component content as the preferred target,No.57(planted in Zhanyi County) was the best, followed by No.3 (wild in XiuLin,Dali) and No.10(planted in Tengchong County). In both contents by output as the preferred target,No.56 (planted in Shizong County) belongs to the high yield and high quality resources.No.49 (wild in Puer City) belongs to the resources for super-high-yield low content of effective component.
