Studies on the Chemical Constituents from Vitex peduncularis Wall in Yunnan Province

In order to study the chemical constituents of Vitex peduncularis Wall, eleven compounds were isolated from 95% EtOH extract of the plant by various chromatography methods. The structures of them were identified by spectroscopic analysis to be:3', 5-dihydroxy-3, 4', 7-trimethoxy flavone (1),3', 5-dihydroxy-4', 6, 7-trimethoxy flavone (2), 4', 5, 7-trihydroxy flavanone (3), kaempferol (4), luteolin (5), kaempferol-3-O--D-glucoside (6), vitexin (7), isovitexin (8), daucosterol (9), -sitosterol (10), stigmasterol (11), respectively. Among them, compounds 1-6 were obtained from this plant for the first time.
