Study of Ammonia Release in Mainstream Cigarette Smoke under Intensive Smoking Regime by Ion Chromatography

  • By mouth to release the suction mode at a depth of ammonia in mainstream cigarette smoke was studied. Using RM20H port smoking machine connected by a suction unit to achieve mainstream cigarette smoke by opening the gas phase was subjected to automated trap, and to achieve quantitative analysis by ion chromatography external standard method. On this basis, the contents of domestic commercial mainstream cigarette smoke under different suction modes were studied by-mouth trapping ammonia measurement and analysis, according to the detection content in cigarette smoke ammonia-port, through its mathematical statistics by oral delivery trends research. The results showed that:ISO mode-by-puff during its release displayed polynomial (n6) form and a significant increasing trend, Massachusetts and Health Canada under suction mode ammonia emission was polynomial trend change (n=6), and in the first 10 after the release gradually decreased fit different equations were higher suction mode, R20.989 2. By mouth can be classified ammonia release feature four categories, specifically as follows:① the first,second and sixth mouths; ② the eighth mouth; ③ the third and fourth mouths;④ the fifth and seventh mouths.
